The Hammerdin by far, one of the most godly PvPers you can make in 1.10.
One of the best synergy types. Also, with their aura CONCENTRATION, their Blessed Hammer can do an additional
5,000 to 9,000 damage, which is to me beyond cheap. Nevertheless, we deal with what we must!
Hammerdins for PvP suffer against Necromancers, due to their long bone range.
I have also seen alot of Hammerdins fall to Trap Assassins, and even against Orb/Fire Ball Sorceresses.
However, against everyone else really, they rule.
Barbarians can barely touch Hammerdins, especially if they use Stormshield.
Skills for Hammerdin:
Blessed Hammer: Max
Blessed Aim: Max
Vigor: Max
Though Blessed Aim is worthless in other use, Vigor can be a great move throughout the game,
to run around quickly all over the place! Concentration is definitely the best Paladin damage aura in 1.10, due
to it effecting magic damage and physical damage! Hammerdins are very great in PvP, but really shine in PvM.
Stats For Hammerdin:
Strength: 156 *For Stormshield*
Dexterity: 250 * For Maximum Defense*
Vitality: 300
Energy: 80
Equipment For Hammerdin:
Weapon: Wizspike, or Hoto *Heart of the Oak*
Shield: Stormshield, Herald of Zakarum, or Exile
Armor: Skullders, Enigma, or CoH *Chains of Honor*
Helm: Shako
Gloves: Magefist
Boots: War Travellers
Belt: Anarchid's Mesh
Rings: Dual Stone of Jordans
Amulet: Maras Amulet
Tips For Hammerdin:
Hammerdins (especially with Enigma), can have a GREAT advantage with their Teleport, Concentration, and an Act 1
mercenary (Rogue). For example, A Hammerdin with a lvl 89 Rogue,That uses an Ohm Windforce, 160/60 ED/IAS Archon Plate,
and a 40/15 Gaze, making her a super fast arrow shooting Rogue, with 1200-7100 DAMAGE PER ARROW, PURE PHYSICAL DAMAGE!
One of the best ways to beat Hurricane Druids is by having a Hammerdin teleporting around and having the Rogue shoot
the Druid repeatingly. Just make sure you teleport away from the Druid, at times as well!
Tips For Fighting Against Hammerdin:
Fighting hammerdins isn't easy, we alllll know that. Their super damage, and teleporting around can be very tough. I have found using a Trap Assassin can really slow them down, by using traps all over the terrain, so when they teleport nearby they will instantly take mana/health damage (and probably even just die on the spot)! With a Barbarian, it's a gamble, if you whirlwind the hammerdin and don't kill him right away..... then a hammer or two will kill a 5k life barb! BE CAREFUL!
