
Smite-o-dins are the Best melee char you can make.
This is because the 'Smite" skill Is UNBLOCKABLE.
Please note that Smite Pally's are only for Melee Duels, and nothing else. If you use a Smite-O-din against Spell casters, and Bowazons you will get Owned badly.
Skills For Smite-O-din:
Smite: Maxed (main skill).
Charge: 10 - Maxed (This will be your Secondary Skill).
Holy Shield: Maxed (This is your Def).
Defiance: Maxed (Increases Def on Holy shield).
Might: 10 - 15 (To increase Damage on Charge) *Note: Only start puting points in this when Smite, Holyshield, and Defiance are maxed.
Stats For Smite-O-din:
Strength: 200-250 (Increases Smite dmg conciderably)
Dexterity: 100-150 (Adds def to make you harder to hit)
Vitality: 150 - 200 (More if you can spare the points)
Energy: Base (Don't add any since Smite has very low mana req's)
Equipement For Smite-O-din:
Weapons: Eth BoTd Zerk (For more dmg, life, and Dex), or Doom Zerk (Has Holy freeze to slow your opponant down giving you more chances to hit em).
Armor: Stone, or CoH-(Chains of Honor)
Helm: V-gaze, or Crown of Ages
Shield: Eth Exile Vortex shield
Belt: T-Gods, Vendingo's, or Razor Tail
Boots: Gore Riders
Rings: Dual Stone of Jordan's
Amulet: Highlords Wrath, or Maras Ammy
Percentages of Wins/Strategies For Smite-O-din:
Against Barbs (Any) 99.9%.....All Smite-O-dins have to do is Hold Shift key and Smite away. Unlock the run feature, if you walk they will have a tough time hiting you, cuz your def will not drop. If you run you def drops 50% leaving you open for attacks.
Against Zeal Pally's 80.9.9%.....Same stratagy use as on Barbs. However, Zeals swing a lot faster than Barbs (including Frenzy Barbs), and they can land some critical strikes . Thats why its at 80.9% and not 99.9% like Barbs.
Against Charge Pally's 60%.....Becareful!! Chargerdins can get nicely timed hits on you, if you move towards them. The way you beat em is DON'T move towards em. Just Hold Shift key and smite them just as their charge reaches you. Smite has a stun/knock back attribute and will stop a charger in his tracks, if timed right. They will get stunned and loss half their Hp do to inertia. Lol their charge meeting your smite does massive dmg. If you keep timing your smite with their charge, you have the very good possibility of owning them in 2 smite hits.
Against Other Smite-O-Dins 50/50.....This is very hard. It all depends on who has more health and Str. If you use Doom, you have better chance of wining. The Doom runeword has Holy freeze attribute inherient, and will slow their smite speed by 50% . Giving you more chances to hit them first, and a better chance of a win.
Against Shape-Shifter Druids 90%.....These melee Druids like to use Fury skill. Fury has the inherient attribute of stun. If they hit you first, you will get stuned delaying your smite retaliation. To counter this, you either try to hit em first, or have at least four 12% faster hit recovery charms equiped in your inventory.
